PM Modi paid homage to Dwarka's historical legacy by offering prayers underwater, a symbolic tribute to the legendary city linked with Lord Krishna. Earlier, Modi visited the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, a revered Hindu pilgrimage site, where he received an idol of Lord Krishna from the temple priests.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Sudarshan Setu, India's longest cable-stayed bridge, connecting Okha mainland to Beyt Dwarka. Constructed at a cost of ₹979 crore, the bridge enhances connectivity in the region and symbolizes progress. Modi's two-day visit to Gujarat included a vibrant roadshow in Jamnagar, showcasing his connection with the people and his reverence for the spiritual heritage of Dwarka.
To pray in the city of Dwarka, which is immersed in the waters, was a very divine experience. I felt connected to an ancient era of spiritual grandeur and timeless devotion. May Bhagwan Shri Krishna bless us all. pic.twitter.com/yUO9DJnYWo
